Snow condition

Start in Schröcken with sufficient support. But it only gets really good from 1700 to 1800 meters. Sufficient on the mountain. Where the wind could "work", stone contact is not excluded.

Snow quality

Above 1700 meters on the north side without wind influence you can still find good powder snow (10-20 cm on a firm base) Below 1700 meters 5-10 cm on a hard base. Depending on the exposure, the sun and wind have already put a lid on it

Risks

favorable conditions. However, above 2200 keep your eyes open. Old, now snow-covered drift snow deposits are critical (gullies and hollows) During the course of the day there were isolated small-scale loose snow slides

If you choose the right tour, you can still get your money's worth. This was the case today. Peace on the mountain - dream panorama. Racy and fine powdery descents.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
