Well, anyone who is out and about in the Bregenzerwald and on the Arlberg knows only too well that there is very little snow for this time of year. At least in the higher altitudes from about 1500 meters there is a good base.

In contrast to yesterday (Sonnenkopf), the quality of the snow in Wart-Schröcken was a notch better, it was quite fluffy and by no means heavy. The hard patches were also not as pronounced.

Risks

Still critical on fully loaded north-facing slopes, but on the whole there is a lot of save ... where there is nothing, you don't really have to expect much .

Dog-awful visibility, coupled with lots of tracked areas, didn't exactly make life easy for us. But if you look hard enough, you will always be able to call an untouched patch of Pow your own.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
