Exposition
Snow condition
Really good on the north side. On the south side it's already really bad in places, with the meadow coming through in some places. You can still get down the south side without any problems.
Snow quality
The snow quality varies greatly depending on the exposure. Partly firn, hard and slush on the south side. Beautiful powder snow on the north side.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
According to LLB warning level 2, the main danger is likely to be wet snow slides on the south side, typical spring situation. Good conditions on the north side, the drift snow should have settled well by now. Danger spots are mainly in places with a transition from a little to a lot of snow.
Overall impression
Great day, a bit of a bummer on the south side, but by midday we had super firn. Still really good on the north side. It was a short tour but very nice.
