Exposition
Snow condition
Snow from 1100m, reasonable rideability from 1400m, 30cm, rising to 50cm. locally more. As the temperature has been hovering around freezing point for the last few days, the base was nice and compact, which prevented the snow from breaking through. You can ride on meadows without hesitation. About 5cm new overnight.
Snow quality
In the lee (N-O-S) and in hollows mostly good, but rather compact. Occasional light wind cover. Exposed ridges blown off. Got worse over the course of the day due to the rise in temperature. Above 1600m it remained decent.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Terrain traps, botany, stones, fences. Thanks to good visibility and a compact base, however, material erosion was easily prevented. No danger of avalanches at this altitude despite strong winds yesterday.
Overall impression
Good start to the tour today. The lines were short but nice. It's going to be worse over the weekend because of the rising temperatures.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
