Powdery and light, almost too much to track. Not a ray of sunshine was seen on the north side and the temperatures were cold. Accordingly, the snow quality was still good

Fences and boulders as well as sticks in the forest.
Overall impression
Almost too much snow to really get going. Once you've made the first turn, you're good to go.
