Exposition
Snow condition
Still very good for the time of year. Above 1200m you could easily cross steep forests with ravines.
Snow quality
From midday in S-Expos already so difficult that skiing is only limited fun > The steeper the slope, the worse the snow. N still good, but worse than on Friday, as more bound. Therefore quite slow to ski.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Drift snow from yesterday. Were out and about on the south side up to 35 degrees and didn't see anything. No sliding snow mouths on the south side either. There were two small avalanches on the Steineberg in the steep eastern gully and the neighboring eastern slope, probably triggered spontaneously by a snow slab. However, the slope was not swept away, which is why I assume that the drift snow is rather small-scale. I was too far away for a usable picture.
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche
Altitude: 1600 m
Overall impression
Dream day in the mountains with sunshine!
