Avalanche warning level
low (1)
Exposition
Snow condition
well below average for the time at all altitudes. the lwd measuring station is well representative of the starting point on open terrain. in the forest belt a little higher up, however, there was zero base and almost nothing of the 20 cm of fresh snow at the beginning of the week made it to the ground, so you have to carry there. otherwise, however, the descent to the p is still possible.

Snow quality
at the bottom, the not-so-fresh fresh snow was still promisingly soft. unfortunately, at the top in the cirque, it was quite blown out and mostly covered by a small or large wind cap, very variable. only in the gully at the top was there nice powder to enjoy. unusually deep, so the more you ski, the more you get bumpy. many many hidden avalanche bumps in the middle section. and at the pinholes zt already icy.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: strong
Above: 1600 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
wind signs and drifting snow everywhere, but according to lwd well connected with old snow.
Overall impression
the snow situation leaves may with a blue ribbon...or something. griesner kar is always worth a trip, especially if you know that there are beautiful gullies waiting at the top. it's already busy today, if you want to get something tomorrow you have to get up early. third star for all non-lifestyle part-timers, cheers!
