Hi Winter! - 20-30 cm fresh

Snow condition
Hardly anything works at lower altitudes, nothing at all in the forest. The best terrain is high alpine pastures and the light larch forest. You can even accelerate there for a short time, but overall you should take a good look at the terrain.
Snow quality
4 stars for the larch forest. A good 35 cm of fluffy powder in places and definitely areas where you almost don't feel the base. However, it is also quite hard in places. This is especially true for the higher elevations where there is less wind influence. In the valleys 20 cm on thin crust.
Risks
Not critical in light high-altitude forests and on alpine pastures. The 1 fits well here. Completely unbound fluffy powder and basically still a relatively high terrain roughness; we were only briefly above the tree line (as it was windy and there was no visibility), so there could well have been a little bit of snow in areas exposed to the wind.
Overall impression
Very cool and more snow than expected. And that winter feeling! The area in the larch forest would be worth 4 stars, but above and below it is simply lacking.
When hopping around, you can feel the old snow cover and you have to keep a close eye on the landing.
Almost nothing going on, a few great turns with the best company - a really good day for this winter so far.
