i may see things a little differently because of the japan trip, but i just don't see more than 2 stars. with a careful choice of lines you can get through with almost no contact with the enemy, but snow is still missing almost everywhere.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

super fluffy, approx. 30cm new, significantly more in blown-in areas.

Risks

very tense. above the tree line you could see the signs of wind very well everywhere, many slopes were massively blown in. we saw 3 self-releases, a small snow slab triggered by skiers. the drifting snow is still very loose and brittle, goes down quickly in real expo and steepness. restraint was the order of the day, at least for us. unbelievable what is still being skied right away. the many reports of avalanches today unfortunately show this very well.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

beautiful day, great snow, despite it being a weekday, everything easily accessible was tracked by noon, and I think almost all the usual variants by late afternoon.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
