The snow conditions are below average! From approx. 1300 m you can make a reasonably solid start in a western exposure. Nevertheless, there may be one or two very short potholes. Obstacles such as tree stumps, rocks or ditches are already partially exposed. The situation is better from around 1600 m. On the south side, the situation looks even worse.
Snow quality
Ascended with crampons and skied down in firn. The timing worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the lower part of the tour was already quite rutted, which spoiled the firn fun somewhat.
Risks
Classic spring conditions. Start early and finish activities early.
Overall impression
Mostly a beautiful firn descent without other competitors and afterwards coffee and cake in the sun, spring has arrived [hopefully only briefly ]
