Snow report Zauchensee, 04/18/2017

Fuuuuuck! Is it really April? Holy moly, finest shizle in Zauchensee. Partly knee-hip deep blower and counted 7 other competitors with whom we had to share the pow!

At the bottom you occasionally hit a bit of a bump, but if you ride carefully, you can avoid contact with stones. There is enough surface at the top, full speed ahead!!!

Damn. 50-70 cm of blower powder. A bit twisted in places, but mostly just bottomless powder. Faceshots at their best. Sometimes you have to stop because you just can't see anything. The helmet cam shots are mostly unusable because everything is white.

Risks

Tense on the steep open slopes. The whole thing was pretty brittle, especially where the wind was inside. On Friday it's definitely time to watch out for the first big settlement impulse!

Overall impression

Mostly shitfuck all winter again. But today is definitely enough for 5 stars, it doesn't get any better. So, if you don't have anything to do tomorrow: Off to the Zauchensee forest, there's still plenty to do

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
