Snow condition

At first glance, it looks good everywhere. On closer inspection, however, you can see that the snow conditions at the bottom are already pretty poor. It's better to stay on the slopes here. At the top it's great, you can ski off-piste without any stone contact!

Snow quality

Around 20 cm of fresh snow fell at the bottom and around 40 cm at the top. As expected, the snow was wet at the bottom, but with a little effort it was still quite easy to ski. At the top it was a dream for the end of April. Loose, slightly damp fresh snow.

Risks

Even if it doesn't look very dangerous, you should be careful. When walking you notice that somewhere in the snow cover there is a weak visibility. On hairpin bends in steep terrain, the wedges have broken away in places. Above the reservoir at the Gamskogel, a decent board has also come off.

What more could you want on April 28?

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
