Skiing on the slopes in Zauchensee! that's as good as it gets...

Snow condition
The warm temperatures and the rain have really damaged the snow cover. There is 5 to max. 25 cm of snow on the terrain. Off-piste skiing is therefore not even remotely possible. The current snow cover is probably no good as a base either, and the pistes can be skied down into the valley without any brown patches.
Snow quality
Overnight there was about 3-4cm of fresh snow, which was heavily transported by the wind (SOUTH). It was pleasant to ski on the piste. Powdery at the top and icy in between. At the bottom it was more like spring. Quite ok for a few turns on piste skis!
Risks
Too little snow
Overall impression
A bit of fresh air but nothing to write home about!
