The lower levels are bad, similar to Salzburg Nord. You have to be very careful there and get through relatively often. From about 1400m it starts to get good, above 1600 in wind-calmed areas.

Yes, what can you say, it doesn't get any better in terms of quality, it just has to be more.

Risks

Relatively uncritical on our tour today. We also dug a bit, at about 1900m above sea level. At a depth of 70cm there is an ice lamella. Not a smooth break and only with a large additional load. Above the tree line there were many blown-off areas and the wind was quite strong up there today.

Super nice day with a Japan feeling in the forest. It was definitely worth getting up early before the crowds stormed in.
Unfortunately, there is very little in the lower elevations, so the steep forest aisles with very playful terrain below 1300m could hardly be used...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
