Yesterday and overnight it snowed about 20-30cm at the bottom and about 30-40cm at the top. Overall, there's still very little snow for the time of year (50cm at the bottom, maybe 80cm at the top), but it's getting there. Down to 1400m it was easy to ski without touching the ground. There are problems on wind-exposed ridges and ridges, where the wind has swept almost everything away.

Freshly fallen powder with a good, stable base! At times you could really step on the gas. However, on the descent around lunchtime, it became a bit wetter and heavier, at least further down, but still pleasant to ski. At the top it was pretty windswept or blown off.

Risks

The LWD reported level three, you have to be careful in any case. Particularly, as usual, with regard to the blown gullies and hollows. At the top, you could literally see the wind moving the snow. Sensible tour and track selection are essential (even if the fresh snow is tempting...)

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Super day with mostly good snow and (finally) a usable base. The great weather and the fact that we only had to share the descent with relatively few others for a fresh snow Sunday give us four stars. It can go on like this!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
