The snow conditions are now really okay. However, you can still often feel contact with the ground in deeper areas that have been affected by the wind in recent weeks. But descents down into the valley are now possible. Ullr has probably given us around 30-40cm of fresh snow here.

We found very fine powder in shady terrain. Further down and on sunny slopes, however, it became heavy in the morning. That's why we only gave it three stars.

Risks

According to LLB warning level 3 above 2000m. Below that, warning level 2, which I would also confirm. But as also written in the situation report, one should not forget the snowpack structure. This has not exactly been favorable in recent weeks. In addition, there is ice under the fresh snow in places and the freshly fallen powder snow slides off relatively quickly.

Very nice day today. It was definitely my best so far.
