Snow condition
The general snow conditions are sensationally good, as everywhere in the Eastern Alps. All kinds of lines are possible. However, despite the massive amounts of snow, some of the ridges and crests are completely blown off. You have to be careful here
Snow quality
On the whole, really fine conditions: approx. 20 cm of powder on a soft base. On the shaded side fine powder throughout, on the south-facing slopes already melt crust or hard snow
Risks
Generally very well-settled snow cover. The main danger comes from drift snow deposits near the crest or in gullies and hollows
Overall impression
In the Hochfügen freeride area, excellent conditions on the snow side with 20 cm of powder. The slopes exposed to the sun have already been capped.
