Snow condition

There was about 15 cm of fresh snow overnight. In the areas below 2,500 meters, the snow conditions have worsened since the end of November. However, there are also beautiful gullies and hollows here where there is plenty of snow. All areas exposed to the sun or wind have extremely little snow. In the glaciated areas, there is reasonably sufficient snow.

Top at the bottom, not so good at the top! In the lower areas (below 2,300) the snow has fallen completely without the influence of wind. Due to the low temperatures, it is therefore of the best quality. Further up, the wind has been up to mischief and has put a lid on south-facing slopes in particular.

Risks

The freshly formed drift snow is clearly visible and should therefore pose no danger.

With care, you can drive some nice things. However, nothing has changed since the end of November. Sad...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
