Snow condition
Overall, the snow conditions are ok. However, there is very little snow in the summit gully, for example, which was actually our destination, and we also had to return to the ski area at the bottom and take the valley descent.
Snow quality
Where there is snow - super set powder. Depending on the location 20-40cm. In some places, however, the top layer is already quite wind-pressed.
Risks
Wind loads should definitely be taken into account over the next few days. We've seen a few loose snow slides from the weekend. Yesterday (Wednesday), however, was dream conditions in nicely settled powder. Even in steep terrain, there was no more sluff that started to slide.
Overall impression
Dream day but without a goal. However, the top snow made up for it.
