There is a 10 cm thick layer of new snow on top of about 30 cm of snow. Heavily packed in the upper layers!
Snow quality
The snow was very loose in the morning. During the course of the day and towards the second half of the day, the strong sunshine and the extremely mild weather with the onset of a foehn wind put a lot of pressure on the snow. Increasingly heavy and wet!
Risks
The avalanche situation is currently rated at three. This should not be underestimated! In the Innsbruck area (Axamer Lizum) there is a big avalanche, I think especially gliding and wet snow can be dangerous in the afternoon on all southern exposures.
Overall impression
Because of the great weather it should get 3 stars. However, the avalanche situation and the mild weather sour it to 2 stars. Still had a great day
