Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

A good 20 cm of new snow and it continued to snow all day. Absolutely sufficient snow conditions up to the Hochfügen lift station. Routes can be chosen without any problems and you have to make a lot of effort for rock contact - but it is still possible ;)

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

20 cm of new, fantastically soft powder. Unfortunately not bottomless. Rarely icy base but still nice to ride. (You can still feel the long snowfall-free period underneath). A little harder towards midday in the lower third. Faceshots and fun factor still 100%.

Risks

Avalanche warning level 2. Wind-protected slopes in the forest rather harmless. Accumulations of drift snow and signs of wind can be observed on wind-exposed slopes above the trees. Continuing heavy snow cover from midday due to rising temperatures. Danger of loose snow avalanches.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Really good, unexpected powder day! Despite constant snowfall and cloud cover, visibility was mostly good.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
