Off-piste skiing in Hochfügen - with relatively great effort there is still something to do, but spring is here!

Snow condition
Variant descents are still possible everywhere down to the valley. There is still a continuous snow cover in all exposures. Loose snow is difficult to find. If there is, then it is around 10-15cm. Stone contact occurs, but rather rarely. I had the feeling that some stones were already being exposed by the melt.
Snow quality
Unfortunately, more than 2 is not possible, because very often a nasty enamel cap is encountered. But you can hardly assign this to an exposure, as it can occur almost anywhere where there is just a little sun. In general, the conditions also changed quite quickly: on the same slope, you switch from one side to the other of the ridge and it goes from relatively good snow to hard snow... We found the best snow above 2200mh on the north side.
Risks
According to LLB 2 with a spring daytime course. This is also consistent with my observations. I also had a very safe impression on steeper slopes. Wet loose snow slides were visible but no wet base avalanches or anything similar.
Overall impression
The effort to find good lines was quite high (hardly anything works without a 20-minute ascent), almost everything was rutted and there was hardly any good snow: only a 2 in there, even if the weather was a dream again.
