Hochfügen: Good blasting results and also good snow at higher altitudes

Overall impression
Snow condition
The last snowfall brought around 30 cm. A little more in places. Personally, I hadn't expected so much. It was also urgently needed. You still get scratches on the ridges from time to time. There's also enough in the forest for the next few days.
Snow quality
Top in the morning. The first few centimetres of fresh snow came as showers. After that, really good quality. But it wasn't blower. On the last meters of altitude towards the valley station it was quite heavy very early (from about 1700m).
Risks
There was a lot of traffic and nothing major was triggered. A medium-sized slab could be blown up. Superficial drift snow was less of a problem. I think the problems are well hidden in the snowpack: shower layer boundary, sleet, drift snow. Pay attention to the daily rise. The situation will ease a little over the next few days or rather increase with the forecast precipitation
Overall impression
A beautiful day with apparently stable snow cover. Restraint is required, even if this is difficult on a sunny morning. As already described in other Cr's, the snow cover has been a bit strange since the fresh snow. You're almost not used to so much precipitation in such a short space of time.
