Overall impression
Snow condition
It turns green down in the valley and on the south side. Good from approx. 1,400m, only west side summit blown off. Approx. 20 cm of wet fresh snow, from the tree line onwards the amount is increasing or less due to rain/heat.
Snow quality
Wind-pressed at the top, then superficial crust, then damp pow, then sulz. Not very easy to ski.
Risks
Tense, daytime warming and damp. We were traveling flat. Snow slab visible on the opposite slope (NW) due to soaking in the steep terrain.
Overall impression
Most of the ascent in a T-shirt, few competitors, little tracked descent. Nice spring tour, even if no faceshots, great beach life.
