Exposition

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne
30 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1200 m)
Variations of snow cover

The highest snow depths of the entire winter in the north between 1500 and 2000m. On the south side, there is often only loose fresh snow without a base.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

Above 1500m this morning finest cold powder, further down then more and more damp but not yet wet. 5 minutes of diffuse radiation/sun destroy the cold powder depending on the angle of the sun and it is quickly no longer completely unbound.

Risks

Much fresh snow

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

I was only out and about up to the tree line today and couldn't see any danger signs. There was snowfall without any wind.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Equal

The best snow depth and snow quality of the entire winter. At the top, the powder is certainly 30-50cm deep, but the sun is already quite strong even if you can hardly see it... The steepness of the terrain was a bit lacking for the 4* today.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
