Driving variants in Hochfügen

Snow condition
Descent to the valley 1500mh is easily possible. A good base in all standard variants. I haven't seen this much snow here all year. Stone contact is not a problem (except on ridges that have now naturally blown off again). Only in the lower parts of the treeruns should you be prepared for the fact that not everything is nice and even and covered several meters high. The amount of fresh snow varies greatly due to the influence of the wind, but you can expect around 20-30 cm of fresh snow.
Snow quality
Still cold powder but very windy due to the storm of the last few days. But the whole thing was extremely rideable! Somewhat sheltered, high and on the north side there was even some decent spray. Of course, when the sun shines, it gets wetter, but that should be clear. It's April!
Risks
According to LLB 3, we were prepared for a lot due to the storm, large amounts of fresh snow and corresponding warnings in the media. But over the course of the day, the snow cover proved to be very stable and we were able to feel our way up steeper runs. It didn't feel like a 3 after a 4. We only saw one slide triggered by skiers the whole day in the busy area. We didn't observe any spontaneous releases. Only on the approach did we notice ground avalanches on south-facing meadow slopes (see photos).
Overall impression
Four stars because the day was great. Much safer than expected, top skiable powder and great weather from the start to the end of the lift. In the social networks you could also read "Best day of the season". I wouldn't go that far, but it was definitely one of the top 5.
