Snow condition
There was nothing more underneath, with the fresh snowfall of the last few days about 20-30cm below. Much more has fallen further up, I estimate 60-80cm. Not much underneath further up either, not really surprising given the south-facing aspect, the altitude and the time of year.
Snow quality
Really fine powder above 1900m. Further down it got wetter and heavier. After the tour it was 6 degrees at the parking lot below. It probably won't be long before we start directly from the parking lot.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
We were really quite flat today. That's why we didn't observe anything. Yesterday we were in the ski resort in Gerlos, and even on very short steep sections over 35 degrees you could see the edges of the cracks. So the situation was definitely tense.
Overall impression
Super tour with great snow. It was definitely unexpected for April. But with the warming it should get worse again quickly.
