Current situation in Hochfügen: empty pistes and fresh snow in the next few days

Snow condition
Skiing has been suspended here since last weekend. The pistes are therefore perfect for having fun in the coming days with the fresh snow. Tours in the rear basin still need snow on the approach. We were still able to climb up, but on the descent everything was gone and we had to carry. But with the amounts that are forecast, that shouldn't be a problem. Slopes on the shaded side generally look quite good. No stone contact on the whole tour. The only time this season that I've managed here without any.
Snow quality
Nice powder that got heavier as the day progressed. With the right timing and a bit of luck, you're bound to find some fine fresh snow in the coming days.
Risks
Small snow packs were clearly visible. Otherwise relaxed. With the fresh snow, of course, this has to be reassessed.
Overall impression
Thanks to the fairly high altitude, there is still plenty to do here in April in unglaciated terrain without too much effort. Some people will have this thought at the weekend and you will certainly not be alone. Rostkogel, Kleiner Gilfert all still easily doable, even if you have to carry a short distance on the pull trail.
