Summer skiing in Hintertux
Zillertal
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Quite okay for the end of July, even if the heat has of course affected the snow. Descent to Fernerhaus still possible, pistes still ok, but the ice is coming out in a few places.
Snow quality
Summer snow, so already very settled and you don't sink in completely even towards midday. Partly frozen in the morning.
Risks
Without fresh snow, avalanches are unlikely at the moment.
Overall impression
Ok for a few hours on the slopes.
