Would almost be tempted to give it 2 stars, so much better than yesterday in the Stubai. A bit below average, but for October you can't complain. Descent to the Fernerhaus possible, slopes mostly ok even if the ice occasionally peeks out. Not much to do off the beaten track. Nothing outside the glacier.
Snow quality
Sliding down the slopes is particularly good from later in the morning when it softens up.
Risks
At the moment, crevasses are probably the greater danger...
Overall impression
Quite ok, quite full although the queuing times were still reasonable.
