Quite ok for the end of October. If you are very pain-free, the first off-piste turns are slowly possible, of course you still have to reckon with stone contact everywhere, and of course you should leave it on the glacier areas, you can no longer see the crevasses but they are far from closed. Of course, hardly anyone can be stopped...

Lower midfield. It snowed again, but the wind was quite strong, so the snow at high altitudes is actually completely influenced by the wind. It is partly blown off and hard, partly there is a reasonably soft but wavy snow surface and the slopes are quite nice.

Risks

In the meantime, it is safe to pay attention, even if the danger continues to come mainly from crevasses and stones, and there were some punctiform cracks and older, larger snow slabs to be seen.

Nice to ride the slopes, but rather full despite it being a weekday.
The weekend is sure to be great, as there will be lots of off-piste riding again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
