I was out and about in Hintertux again on Saturday.

It has really dumped. At least 30cm fell on Saturday. The snow line was still around 1800m at the beginning, but later it dropped to around 1300-1400m.
Snow quality
Still very moist at the bottom, but fluffier powder further up.
Risks
I would estimate a tense 2, possibly even a 3. Due to the warm temperatures on Thursday and Friday, the ground was quite warm, so there was a risk of sliding snow avalanches, especially at lower altitudes. Furthermore, the danger of crevasses should not be forgotten.
Overall impression
Super powder day, only the poor visibility prevented us from taking full advantage of the day. Nevertheless, it was one of the first real powder days of the season.
