Hintertux Glacier. It is beautifully white in winter, but there is generally not enough snow for the terrain. Only small runs on the glacier areas are possible and then with great powder. Everything else is mega sharky and certainly material-intensive and potentially hazardous to health. Slopes in top condition.
Snow quality
Great powder where you can ski on glaciers. 30-40 cm.
Risks
Wind influence clearly recognizable: blown-off ridges and rocks next to blown-in hollows and slopes. Smaller slab falls in steep north-facing areas and a good succession of blasting warns of caution.
Overall impression
Good start to the season with a few cautious powder turns in the glacier area. Top conditions on the slopes. The foundations have been laid.
