From 1300 m to about 1600 m the base is still a bit poor, above that there is solid snow / powder which unfortunately still lacks a bit of a base. In proportion, however, there are definitely more free turns than fine contact turns ;)

The persistently cold temperatures mean that powder lovers are getting their money's worth. Especially from 2000 m, fine loose powder. Below that, you can already feel a light cap in places.

Risks

Conditionally uncritical. In the previous days, several smaller chutes up to a maximum of size 2 came down from very steep, shady terrain. However, from 2100 m there is already a clear wind influence (but we are also in a tube-like cirque that channels the wind)

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

A dream for early December. If the current snow leads to a solid base and then the same falls again on top of it then you already get into the 4+ star rating.
It was still really cold though ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
