Snow report Zillertal, 12/06/2019
Aufwärmen für die Saison bei einem Mix aus Piste und Gelände
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Valley descent not skiable, lots of artificial snow even above the middle station, off-piste options are possible if you choose the right route (mostly forest and meadow)
Snow quality
Very changeable, slopes mostly hard to rarely grippy, in the terrain often wind-pressed drifting snow and hardpack in the sun, in wind and sun-protected areas again fantastic fluffy powder, (in the forest from Hochzillertal down to Hochfügen partly top conditions) knowledge of the terrain and appropriate route selection essential
Risks
Avalanche warning level 1, still widespread drift snow problem, wind-pressed, some small snow slabs of wind-pressed surface snow can be seen
Overall impression
Successful day with some fun powder turns in the forest, which made up for the often windswept and hard capped slopes. Some rideable features next to the piste, all with the right choice of terrain, slopes passable. Weather and views TOP.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
