Very poor snow conditions in the entire ski area. 2 centimeters of fresh snow from the day before quickly melted away again.
Snow quality
Mostly artificial snow, which was quite good on the sunny slopes until the early afternoon, hard and partly icy on the shady side.
Risks
(Almost) no snow off the slopes.
Overall impression
Skiing in the sun. At least there are more pistes in the sun than in Hintertux at this time of year. The slopes and lifts are still a long way from being fully open, but a lot has already been done in terms of artificial snow. Today there was also good snowmaking again, which they can apparently afford in Mayrhofen, but there is still a lot of snow missing for freeriding. At the Wanglspitz there's not even any snow in the gullies, and there's still no basis in the whole area.
