Snow condition
So far so good. There is enough snow for skiing, but not enough in the forest, where you have to stick to tracks or forest paths. There is still occasional contact with the ground, but this is limited.
Snow quality
Still ok for the most part, but a nasty cap on the south side in places, and more and more wind influence, especially on ridges, but also on open slopes. This won't get any better with the Föhn storm.
Risks
There has been plenty of drift snow since today at the latest, and there is also an unsuitable base of deep frost, especially in the ridges.
Overall impression
So far ok, we could have done more with the snow with better planning, but for us today it was just an exploratory tour in the approaching Föhn storm.
