In Hochfügen you can do quite a lot. Ridges and ridges are naturally exposed and you should also avoid areas with large and medium-sized stones. However, treeruns are possible here thanks to the compact base. So actually quite okay, but the rest of Hochzillertal looks rather worse. Overnight and during the day 20-25cm were added in hollows 30 cm.

The finest, extremely cold powder has been deposited in exposed areas. Just a little more would be great, then you wouldn't fall through onto the base. However, this is not surprising with such extremely cold Japow.

Risks

I think the 3 is definitely justified. Fresh snow is not connected to the old snow cover at all. And goes down immediately as soon as it's a bit steeper. Above the tree line, there's also clear drifting.

Just missed the 4 stars. Excellent snow, nothing to do lines until the lift closed. That's how it should be, the 4 star is not given because you almost always get through to the hard old snow cover.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
