Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne
15 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1100 m)
Descent through forest
Blown backs

Everything is still possible up to the valley, in the terrain below 1400 it gets a bit thin but with a little foresighted driving everything is possible

Snow quality

Powder snow

In the Alpbachtal valley above 1200 10 cm of loose powder on a load-bearing layer of harsh snow, above approx. 1,800/2,000 m there is no longer a layer of harsh snow under the fresh snow. About 20-30 cm of powder at the top. Perfect conditions on the north side despite the warming today

Risks

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Pay attention to drift snow close to the ridge and keep an eye on warming.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Perfect conditions in the Alpbachtal today with fine powder east to west-facing. The first wet snow slides already in the morning on the south side, tomorrow there will certainly be broken snow in sunny areas, shady slopes could still hold up

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
