Worse than a month ago. The Föhn storm has also completely exposed the exposed areas here. However, gullies and hollows are well filled. All stony areas on the glacier have also been exposed again. Therefore, skiing here is again more restricted than a month ago. Below 1800m it is only enough to ski on the piste or open alpine meadow (10cm from today and yesterday on meadow). Above that you can also ski off-piste.

5 cm of powder on 20 cm of compact powder snow. Skied well, but you often ended up on the underlying layer of ice below 2200m.

Risks

Very critical in the morning unbound slide. Increasing formation of snow slabs in the afternoon as the weather warms up.

Another beautiful day in Hintertux, rarely been so alone in the ski area. No other freeriders, only the amount of fresh snow could have been more.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
