Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

It has snowed a lot. There must have been 20-30 cm of fresh snow since yesterday. Unfortunately, you can see relatively little of it, as the strong wind has blown most of the snow into nirvana.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Crushed slush and fairly heavy snow. In windless areas, however, it was still powdery. Still, only enough for two stars.

Risks

Not without! According to the LLB, warning level two. But I would rate it almost higher. At least where there is snow. The fresh snow from yesterday has been completely buried. Watch out for drift snow packs.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Despite wind force 3-4 and temperatures of minus 20 degrees in places, we ventured onto the glacier today. Because the desire for some rideable powder drove us there. Our efforts were rewarded at least a little. That's why we just got 3 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
