Snow condition

Enough snow on forest trails at 1700 to ascend and descend. The north side is halfway passable from around 2000, everything else up to 2600 is either snowed out or blown off by the strong north föhn.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

The northerly current has brought about 10-15cm of fresh snow. That's no use if it's blown in at the top and has no base at the bottom. The second star goes to the memory of something like powder feeling in the blown-in areas without snow cover.

Risks

The strong wind has formed a few snow packs that should not be neglected. Although they are easy to recognize, they can force you to break off your tour.

Overall impression

1 von 5 Sterne

Very little snow, lots of wind.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
