At 1700 there was about 20-30 fresh snow. In the south sector, there was practically no base at all up to 2000, which is why we still only got just under two stars. Above the tree line, the fresh snow was heavily blown away, some of the backs were completely blown off.

Snow quality

A very tight three stars for the soft but not particularly fluffy and also somewhat wind-influenced, heavy snow below the tree line. Above, probably good in hollows at most, otherwise heavily influenced by wind.

Risks

Above the tree line is tricky due to the wind and the unfavorable snow cover before the snowfall. In any case, I can confirm the three-pointer from the LLB.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

It was okay for an afternoon hangover tour on closed slopes, but of course not possible at the moment due to the bad weather. There's virtually no base in the forest, so you can only make limited use of the fresh snow there...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
