Snow report Zillertal Alps South, 01/16/2016
Ski tour in the Puster Valley
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
The snow of the past weekend was the first on apery ground, so we still often had to reckon with stone contact, especially in the forest not really rideable. Below average for the time of year.
Snow quality
Snow already quite wind-affected and settled but still quite soft and easy to ski. 2.5 stars
Risks
Where the wind has blown, there are narrow areas, from which the main danger emanates. These are generally easily recognizable.
Overall impression
Finally something is going on, snow is not that bad, but for mid-January it's still pretty thin...

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
