Snow conditions below 1600 on the south are devastating. Hardly possible to get down in the forest, even on forest trails. Above that, the choice of routes increases rapidly.

Everything included. Load-bearing cover with enough friction for direct tracks on the ascent. On the descent at half past midnight we even got 15cm of settled powder on the snow side above 2300, then softened cover up to 1900, below that blunt cardboard.

Risks

Relatively safe To the southwest. On the shaded side, even above the critical expo, we found a compact layer of 20cm to 30cm of crust. Be careful with the old snow and watch out for wet and loose snow slides. There was quite a bit on the way.

We did the best we could today and even got a few nice turns.
As soon as we were down, it started raining at around 2 at 1300. And it hasn't stopped since... exciting days are coming with warm, cold and sun.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
