Snow condition
Good snow conditions, 10 to 15 cm of fresh snow on a more than good base. Everything covered in deep snow.
Snow quality
Loose powder, below the ridges with little wind influence, easy to ski, tracks not completely covered. Underground then noticeable near the valley floor. Quality of fresh snow good - quantity less than forecast.
Risks
Lots of old cracks and also a large avalanche cone covered in snow. But certainly from the last hot phase. Fresh wind loads visible.
Overall impression
Good descent but not enough visibility, so handbrake on.
