Frighteningly little snow here too. I actually come here often for ski touring, but this season is the first time. I've never seen so little snow, normally there's more by the end of December. This season is not unusual in principle, but further north there is noticeably more snow, and it's enough for skiing in shady and wind-protected areas, but contact with the ground is possible at any time.

Above the tree line partly quite nice, wind-influenced and settled powder. Underneath it is crushed slush, in the ridges windswept slush.

Risks

Tense, lots of drifting snow, which also lies on a massive rain crust and is easy to disturb. We've seen several larger crack edges, probably from yesterday, and with the predicted fresh snow and hurricane, this is sure to become increasingly critical.

Quite nice, unfortunately almost no snow

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
