Snow condition
Enough snow to have fun even on south-facing slopes. Descent up to 1000m possible. However, it has already become less during the course of the day.
Snow quality
Early in the morning still great powdery fresh snow. Up to the edge of the forest. Compact above that due to the wind. But very good to ski. The sun became a little more active during the course of the day.
Risks
Our area was only a 3 according to the llb. There was also less fresh snow than in neighboring areas. Slight wind drifts can be observed. However, much less wind than expected. Safe on rather flat terrain. I would avoid steeper slopes today.
Overall impression
Very nice tour despite poor visibility. But the rare fresh snow is worth every effort
