Situation report ahead of the hopefully big snowfalls to come: up to 3000m heavily snow-covered slopes in all exposures, south side looks even worse than north sector. A few snow-covered hollows are passable in open terrain, but ski tours still make little sense. The snowfall on Friday has only left a few centimetres behind.
Snow quality
Mostly wind harsh cover and wind fishing.
Risks
Due to the strong wind, there was some wind drifting, which you should watch out for, but it was not very thick because there was so little snow.
Overall impression
Let's hope for plenty of südstau and that the corner, although not a classic südstau situation, will still get some. The current snow conditions are mostly only sufficient for a very poor base.
