The fresh snow has also been very good here, before there was almost no snow. About 35 new at 2000m. Too little to get through without stone contact but still good for skiing. Snowfall limit was at 1300, about 15cm on nothing at 1400. The bottom line is still only 2 stars, because it is still very tight further down and still stony further up.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Good snow quality in the forest and at the forest boundary, slightly wind-influenced above but without a cap. The influence of the sun is only noticeable below 1500.

Risks

A three was issued in this area, as much less snow had fallen here than in the typical southern accumulation areas. Watch out for wind loads above the forest line, otherwise, as expected, much more relaxed than in the 4er areas. No spontaneous snow slabs observed. Of course, you should be especially careful with a triple.

Overall impression

Bluebird with fresh snow in the house area is always fun! The snow is definitely useful as a base for later snowfalls, but there could have been a bit more when there's so much snow all around..

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
